firstly have just finished my 1st month on microgynol? which was put on for pcos, the first two days of my period I had such period pains which i havent experienced since my teens, will these go over several months of the pill?

secondly, my nan is up in the midlands for christmas and having trouble with her waterworks! symptoms not like cystitus but when goes for a wee, cant stop and has a pulling/strectching ache inside??? any ideason what to take??

re your nan - It really depends how long she's felt like that & whether she has other symptoms but I live in Derbyshire & we have a 'flu' type bug going round that makes all your insides hurt as you you describe. Makes you feel awful & seems to affect everything from your tummy to your bladder to a period type pain.
Tell her to take paracetamol & drink plenty of fluids but if she's not any better by Thurs maybe she should see a GP/nurse before the xmas break.

i should imagine that the pains would ease the longer you take it. i've found that dianette is much better for pcos symptoms, but what works well for me might not work for you. x
