Left hand and right hand drive
I have recently been interested in the Allard J2X, a British-made racing car dating from 1953. I noticed that in all the pictures I saw, the steering wheel was on the left.
Is this because it's a racing standard, or just because Allard wanted to appeal to a wider market (with their 83 cars) than just the British one? Or is it just that I am being constantly fooled by American made reproductions?
Can anyone enlighten me?
