Hair Straighteners
5 Answers
I think I want some hair straighteners for christmas. I dont want GHD's (well I do but too expensive!), but i'm looking for decent straighteners that will heat up fast for...lets say up to 30. Oh and cordless would be useful, lol. There are loads in the Argos catalogue, a lot of them look good and are cheap, so I don't know what to go for. Does any one recommend a particular hair straightener, or know any that I should stay clear of?
Also, I could do with some spray/serum/whatever that protects hair, especially for hair-straightened hair. Any suggestions? Thanks fellow ABers, x

Kerastase Oleo-relax is fantastic for keeping my hair frizz free. it is oily but doesn't make your hair dull or lanky. It cost 15.95 but I got my bottle in July and despite using a drop or two every day there's hardly any gone. it's good ito keep straightened hair straight in humid weather as well. it was recommended to me by a free- lance hairdresser.
hey I don't know about straighteners because I will only use GHDs...! but my sister bought some serum from superdrug (by superdrug) the other day, and she said it was really good, her hair was really soft and it helped with straightening and condition, she has extensions too and it didn't make them greasy. it was only 99p too.. x
I have some Vidal Sassoon Micro Crystal ones from Superdrug that were about 20 as part of their Christmas stock and are excellent! They are just as good as GHD without the ridiculous price tag. I have used a friend's ghds and you get virtually the same as these ones. They also have these for sale on Ebay.
Oleo Relax is the BEST serum by a long way. In fact all of the Kerastase range is excellent and worth investing in as they last for ages and you have gorgeous hair everyday. Well worth it!
