Firefox update

I've just installed the above & now can't connect to anything via Firefox. Anyone else had this problem? What can I do?

If you are using XP you can try a system restore.

I've just this second updated, and ff restarted and re-opened all my tabs with no problems

When you update a program like Firefox, your firewall should tell you that the program has changed and ask if you want to continue allowing it access to the internet. It seems like the firewall has failed to provide this message and is blocking Firefox.

Go into your firewall's log and change the settings, so that Firefox is granted access to the net.
