Free roaming games

For PS2, i'd either go for Dragon Quest:Journey of the cursed King or Dark Chronicle, both brilliant RPG's or maybe even Ico or Shadow of the Colossus, both made by the same people, both excellent.
If you have an XBox 360, go for Oblivion, Hope that helps :)

You can get Oblivion on the PC now too and I would thourghly recommend it, It's my current addiction....until I can get my mitts on a Wii!
