I want to add music to my presentations and tried everything but i dont think it supports my system I dont want to add wavs I do know how to add it to my displays but it wont play anything its becoming a pain.

I had a free trial of mircosoft powerpoint which i loved using and was so easy to use adding music etc...now my trial has run out. Is there a way of me getting a free download of the Powerpoint software I've only got a powerpoint veiwer but no software to use to do more presentations.

Powerpoint retails at nearly 200, so you are not going to get a legal free copy.

You could google for presentation software to see if there are any free or cheap alternatives that have the features you are looking for.
I have had a quick scout and Star Office does what you want. It's normally 40 but there are some offers - you can have the full version free here:

If you scroll down the page, you will see how to get the code for a full and free version.
Are you sure openoffice's impress doesn't do this for you?

I've just tried mine, and it happily accepts all the music I have.
As I understand it, you can't get music to play throughout the slideshow on OpenOffice - it's a slide by slide affair.
Aha, that would explain it.

Maybe they're trying to stop people from putting distracting music all the way along a presentation ;)
