I checked this first as I was unsure about the double "e".
In English the usage appears to use this form for both male and female, whereas in French is as above.
In view of your comment, I checked in my Collins dictionary and it definitely states "divorce� - a man who has been divorced" "divorcee� - a person, especially a woman, who has been divorced".
hi, i'm stuck on this, i've been through a list of pm's online and nothing is mentioned about anybody marrying a divorcee. i would take the question to mean a male pm

Sorry I should have given references earlier... Chambers on line and my Shorter Oxford both define divorcee as a divorced person . In some newspaper articles Dennis Thatcher was described as as a divorcee.
It's not always easy to put in the acute accent in English text ..
I would go with Margaret Thatcher.
