Does anyone on this web site specialise in any of the above?

I'm wanting an answer to a question that only a clairvoyant or Medium could help me with.

I'm not 100% sure that I believe, but I really need a question answered?

Noxlumos - I know all about religion being stuffed down throats, coming from an area with a history of Catholic / Protestant animosity, parades, orange order, St.Patrick and King Billy. These things led me in part to reject, "religion".

I even worked in a place where I was told to keep my "religion", that is, my label, quiet, as I could be victimised for it from some of the bosses no less!

So you and I have a lot in common in this area.

Wizard69 - I agree that it COULD be argued that Jesus was a medium because he spoke to long dead prophets. However, Jesus as God reserves certain things for Himself, and this is one of them, so I believe that is. Judgement and vengeance are others.

I believe that people who dabble in "spiritual matters" leave themselves open to demonic influences. I would have laughed at that years ago, but not any more.

The trouble is, books and films have led us to believe that IF the dark forces exist, then we can easily defeat them by waving a crucifix at them or spraying them with holy water. Utter nonsense of course, but a dangerous belief nevertheless.

For example, my sister in laws' partner is 62, R.A.F. retired after 27 years service, and a solid sort of guy.

However, he was brought up by his grandmother who was a "dabbler", as was his first wife.

About ten years ago, he and the sister in law had two friends round for a meal and a drink, (not too much drink as they were driving), and the subject turned to "dabbling" and my sister in law said something regarding her dead grandmother.

He doesn't recall what happened next, thought he dozed off for a few minutes.

She said that as they were talking, her partner took on the appearance of her grandmother. One second he is sittiing there, the next there is an old woman sitting there. The two guests saw it and gasped with shock, and just as quickly, things returned to normal. The guests got up quickly and left, and never returned.

That is a true story.

Sister in law didn't meet her partner until after her grandmother had died, and he had never seen a photograph of her. This apparition wasn't just any old woman, it was in every detail, the grandmother.

My sister in law had herself visited spiritualists a few times over the years, something I warned her against. She doesn't now, or at least, not to my knowledge.

I believe that people who search, invite something influential into their lives, and if it's not the Holy Spirit, then it's a demonic influence.

I searched Theland and found.....NOTHING. Not anything demonic or anything holy. Second hand stories told time and time again tend to get hammed up in the retelling (chinese whispers type of thingy).
So your assumption that people who search invite something either demonic or holy into their lives is false.Ive already stated on another thread that I spent years looking into the occult so WHY arnt I in some kind of demonic possesed state.Bear in mind Theland that I was into seances,spiritualism,ouija boards,witchcraft rituals,tarot,astrology etc, etc, (oh , and I read the bible avidly...from cover to cover)....AND FOUND NOTHING.

"Theland",Could you please enlighten me regarding the effects of being contacted by those passed over through a medium as you stated in an earlier post that the information is dangerous and false. As I have said before:I visited a medium following the passing of a family member and gave no information about myself or the deceased but was told things only my family and myself could have known and as they were not informed of my visit to this person, he could of only have been telling the truth.I came away feeling better and the closure(so to speak) I was hoping for on my relatives' passing was complete.I think I'm quite a rational person and went in there not knowing what to expect.I did not leave in a possessed state or feeling any harm was done. There are some genuine mediums around who have a gift and only want to use it to help people.

Go to a spiritualist church samie_boo. They charge very little,between �2-3. I've had several message's from my parent's.
