Years ago in the 80s when Mike Read was doing the Radio1 breakfast show, he played a song by someone who had some connection to Dollar (production? I'm not sure). The chorus goes: "See you next week, same time same channel/It's the end of the show/It's goodbye from me and thanks to the panel/Too bad we've got to go." It's a happy little synthesiser number about a man obsessed with a tv star. If anyone can tell me what it is or who it's by I'll be SERIOUSLY impressed! I've asked elsewhere with no luck, probably because as far as I know it never got into the charts.
