tuning in a vcr

Our VCR packed up just before Xmas and we've acquired an Alba VCR from our local Freecycle group as a replacement - unfortunately there is no instruction manual with it so we have no clue how to tune it in. We can watch videos on it but that's all - and we want to be able to record TV programmes.

I've tried phoning Alba's customer service line but am always on hold for ages with no reply.

The vcr is an Alba HQ System code VCR7200. Can anyone help us to tune it in please? Many thanks! Ruth
