Hello shaneystar. I did not mean to steal your thunder, I had just finished that crossword myself so the word was fresh in my mind as I had just looked it up in Chambers (never heard it before!). I do not know why Copperknob ignored you - I have given many answers recently and not been thanked, or even acknowledged. I do not know if they go back to read the answers sometimes which is very annoying. Have three stars on me - Happy New Year to you.

Ooh I say Argee ..thank you ..no offence to you at all ..a lot of us answer all at the same time .I know how you feel ..I sometimes wonder why we bother !! Never any feedback on the myriad of Q's we answer and half of them you never see again !.
