Interview Advice Senior Care Officer Please
1 Answers
Hope someone can help, I applied a little while ago for the above position of a residential care home and just today have received notification of interview which is in 5 days. Panic set in, so just hope someone can advise me on the best approach. I have to do as part of the interview a 10 minute presentation on a) how I would adapt to working with both EMI and Frail Elderly clients.
I can answer questions and just ramble on about the topic but how do i do a presentation. I have the choice of a flipchart stand, overhead projector etc. So just don't know where I could put all the relevant information to get my point across within a short space of time.
Any help be much appreciated
Thankyou

Its unlikely they will be expecting a brilliant presenter but probably looking for a good, concise communicator - it might be good to consider what you want to get across - maybe mindmap it or make a list of key points - and then consider how they link together....

you could draw out the map over the next few days and then draw this, stage by stage, with 'rambling' in between, as your presentation
guess its a personal thing but lots of luck!!
