i-tunes query

Once we have downloaded i-tunes on our windows xp computer, a message appears stating that it is not a valid win32 application. Can anyone please advise us what we are doing wrong.

What version of windows do you have?

Also, when you downloaded it from Apple's website, did you make sure that the radio button was checked for the Windows download, not the OS X one? (The file you downloaded should have the filename .exe, and not .dmg)
I have got exactly the same problem! Im using Windows XP and the file being downloaded is .exe but I am still getting the "not a valid win32 application" I am using dial up not broadband could this be the problem?
Kelly Jo: it may be that it's not downloading it properly. Try using a download manager to download it, such as firefox with DownThemAll:
