Hi all I have a female cat ( I've had her about 7 months) and she is so greedy. She is fed regularly and is wormed every 3 months with my other cat - but she is always so hungry. She will try to scavange in the bin and has often helped herself to cat food ( the one's in the pouches) before I locked them away! She eats far more than my male cat whom is much larger than her and who goes outdoors alot ( she doesnt - she's a house cat ) Anyone got any idea's whats up with her or if this any kind of symptom for something else. She's a very petite cat and looks slender - but she eats so much!!
If she is thin and eating and drinking alot, this could be a sign of thryroid problems. Cats do suffer from this.I would consult her vet for tests ect. good luck
I was going to say the same - you havn't said how old the cat is but thyroid is quite a common reason in older animals. Another symptom of this is vomiting regularly. A quick once over by your vet should put your mind at rest.
