Shopping channel sales women/ presenter

Please help, it has been a burning desire of mine to present on a shopping channel, in particular QVC or price drop tv/bid tv or a gameshow such as the mint, I have worked in a sales industry for many years and have sold everything from pensions to houses. I just have no idea where to get started, I have written to QVC and cannot find anyone to introduce myself to at Price Drop Tv. A friend of mine who does promotion work has suggested signing up to a couple of agencies but I think these more so focus on promotion work. I have considered a couple, but the joining fees seem a little high and i'm reluctant to part with my hard earned cash. How does somebody in the normal world introduce themselves to companies like this and stand a chance of perhaps getting a job with them? Any answers will be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance for any suggestions. Sammie
