Has anybody heard of the afore mentioned product? My uncle recommended it to me for my car, but i cant seem to find it. He said that you spray it into your heating system or something. He either said cold stop or cold start.
The only product i`ve heard of with a similar name is an aerosol spray thats used for 'older' diesel engines, but thats certainly not sprayed into the heating system. Pretty sure its called Cold Start though
You spray 'Cold Start' into the air intake, but I wouldn't recommend using it on a modern car (or even truck), as what with all the electronic monitoring systems etc, it might not help. Great on site though for knackered old compressors and pumps.
It is known as Easy Start - and was manufactured by Bradex if I remember rightly - has been years since I used it - and is still available - wasn't very good for the valve seats over a long period of time.
I would more inclined to get the problem with starting sorted rather than using Easy Start.
Just found a (very old) can at the back of my garage - I used to use it on my 1977 escort, which I got rid of in 1986 (hoarder - me?).
Bradex easystart - a mixture of volatile aromatics which ensue initial firing even under arctic conditions
It can be used on diesel, petrol and parafin engines - but unless your car is over 20 years old - I would not use it.
