Thats all no problems just want to figure out how I can hide or delete some of my questions so he don't see them and get upset or mad. Sorry for the confusion. :)
It seems a bit ungrateful to deliberately set out to get a thread deleted, when people have taken time and effort to post answers your questions.
Once posted, questions and answers remain in the public domain. To manipulate them into being deleted for any reason other than the usual (offensive / obscene etc.)somehow seems to go against the spirit of Answerbank.
You could always re-register as a new user, and, using the Subscribe to question function, add only those questions you want to show him to the "subscribed threads" section of your new user name profile.
This, however, will not stop him stumbling across your old questions about "him and his son" if he knows your old identity.

I go with alc2285 on this one ....
I, too, would like to delete some of the questions I asked, maybe YEARS ago, because either:
* they are completely irrelevant to the here and now
* they are embarrassing in the company of a friend when I am trying to demonstrate the joys of the site
* they are just clogging up my "filing cabinet" of questions I wish to review
I am sure you USED to be able to delete questions on The Answerbank site and really can't understand why you can't now do so!

It's quite clear that in some categories (e.g. Family, Body and Soul) that questions may well be of a personal nature and cover quite sensitive topics.
Although I agree with brachiopod that the Qs and As on this site are in the public domain and therefore shouldn't be removed (for example some of the answers in the more techie sections are really useful), I think that sometimes there is a case for removing some of the more personal and/or sensitive stuff; but ONLY the original questioner and the editor should have this power. This could be done by the original questioner emailing the editor directly and asking to have the thread removed.
Alternatively the questioner could ask the editor to have the original question "anonymized" by removing their "identity" from the question, but leaving it on the board (Like newspapers do when a letter is signed "name and address supplied".)

why do some people seem to have a bad attitude on this site? I have had good answers to this question and others but still some people just seem to have something rude to say. Lets just leave it like this. There isn't a way for me to delete my questions from my profile. so please calm down people its just a web site for people to get simple questions answered and not have to deal with peoples bad attitudes. I want to make this clear, I am not saying that everyone acts like this, just some. Thanks everyone
alc2285......... i had a question that (for my own reasons) i wanted removing, so i just asked the Ed, and politely explained that the 'problem' had now been resolved and would it be possible to have it removed, and it had gone the next day, then........... i changed my 'user-name' cos people i knew had an idea who i was which made it a bit awkward to ask certain questions, i think if you just ask nicely it will not be a problem? Good luck x
