In Design
I've got three layers on a piece of work in In Design and am trying to add a Drop Shadow onto just one layer, but when I am trying it is applying the Drop Shadow to the whole page. Can anyone tell me how to solve this?

I think you have to select the object to which you want to apply the drop shadow. Normally by selecting the object the layer on which that object lies will automatically selected. You can lock a layer from being affected by ticking the box next to the eye icon in the layers palette - a pencil with a red line will appear.
