Splitting an external aerial into 2

I have a freeview aerial for downstairs, but I would like to have it upstairs as well. As well as buying another freeview box, what else would I need to "split" the cable so one goes up, whilst the other goes down??? Thanks

if your signal strength is good enough you could try a ' 2-into-1 coax Y adaptor ' from Maplin, �3.55 plus some plugs,
I've got a freeview box , 3 TVs and a DVD recorder running off the same aerial.
