My ipod has suddenly stopped working and I think the battery may be dead as I've had the charger in for a while and nothing is happening. Is it possible to get new batteries for them??

This happened to mine too. After much searching on the apple site I found that you have to leave it on charge for quite a while before it starts charging again. Give it more time and it should respond soon.
Good luck, Jules x
This happend to me on Holiday. I reset it by moving the hold button back and forward once and pushing down on the Menu and centre button both to together for 12 seconds and then the apple logo comes on. Make sure it is fully charged first. If it does not look like it is charging still leave it plugged in the mains for a few hours before reseting it.
