My wife rec'd a legacy which we used as part of the deposit on our home. Is there any way that she can claim back this legacy?

sorry, from the equity from the house once it is sold

surely as man and wife you both put money into buying the house as a deposit,and if you are selling she has no more right in asking for extra to cover this,no matter where the money came from unless you agree to it
