It cleaned my shower tiles/grout extremely well. Sometimes you have to leave it to work and come back. But wear gloves and old clothes because it contains bleech which took the colour out of my clothes..oops.
Of course if that does not work you can get a pen for example which you can re whiten the grout with. Like tipex -ing them. the white mixture is waterproof of course and stays well till at some point you may wish to redo it.

don't use bleach as bleach turns white things yellow anyway. I have used the grout pen on my tiles with little success.
The best results came from lightly raking out the grout and putting a new thin layer over the top. Looks brand new and lasts much longer. These days you can buy non-yellowing grout, just like gloss of the same name.
I think that the yellow ness is caused by exposure to the air and sun and not by any foriegn dirt being on the grout, so to clean it off is not possible. The only way is to cover it up some how.
good luck

I had the same problem with my tiles but I can tell you about something I tried which has transformed the grout on my bathroom and kitchen wall tiles and even used it on the stone floor tile grout with great success. If you have a wilkinsons nearby, go to their DIY section & look where the grout stuff is stocked. Hopefully you will find there a tube, 125ml size, made by Evo Stik called Grout Revive. This stuff is brilliant. You just use the sponge applicator & go all over the grouting. You will go over part of the tiles too but don't be concerned about that. After 3-4 hours after applying, you just wipe off any excess on the tiles with a damp cloth. I can't praise it enough & have recommended it to others who have been equally impressed. I personally found the grout pen that someone earlier mentioned not that good but invest about 3 something in this & I'm sure you will be more than happy!
