I have an alcopops stain on my carpet...

...it's caribbean kick, watermelon flavour to be precise and I cannot get it out, I'm assuming the pink colour is probably some dodgy E number/food colouring.
I've tried a gentle soapy water solution and carpet cleaner 2001 (or something!) and still there is a pinky streak....help! as we rent our flat!!

I had a similar query the other day, but with lipstick and I got pointed in the direction of www.anyclean.co.uk
It's a cleaning company website, but they do have a page on there with tips and what have you...hope this helps. Must start drinking neat gin or vodka eh??!! Might not be to your taste ...and you'll get wasted, but at least your carpet will be clean should you spill any!!

Cheers for that, I have now tried the vanish oxy spray stuff...still a mark...white wine vinegar is lined up next...personally I cannot stand alcopop drinks and am a very good(or bad!) white wine drinker! this was the aftermath from the NYE party and 'everyone back to ourplace' which seemed like a great idea at the time... but I reckon clear spirits is the way forward for future parties ;o)
