Im doing A2 French at the moment and trying to think of a topic to do for my coursework. It has to be related to France, between 1400-1600 words and i need to be able to research it well. I also have to be really interested in it so i can do well!
Anyone done A2 french recently and got any advice or topics that might interest me? thanks.

If you don't fancy this, you could look at the effects of popular literature on tourism. I'm thinking of Da Vinci Code and Paris here, of course, but there are other novels and their settings that you could use - maybe a compare and contrast type of thing?

You could have a ok round some of the french papers and see if anything from them interests you, could use an article as a basis (will also help your reading skills)...

That could show your depth and targetting of research eg quotes and references. Watch areas which have very specifoc terminology!
You could do all sorts such as the history of the Eiffel Tower or a comparison of the french education system and ours. Have you spent any time in France you could use your personal experience for?

There are lots of subjects you couls write on. Have you ever spent time in France? What are you interested in, as that would narrow it down!
Examples are: food and wine(and the regional differences, local specialities, the battle over exports - especially for cheese and wine, maybe you can find some news topics about it regarding EU regulations and how French people view them ). A comparison between the French and Brittish health system maybe? Although that is a bit difficult, it would certainly impress your teacher! Apart from that, the education system, how the French are viewed by other countries and why (goes back mostly to De Gaulle), France and the Iraq question.....
As I said, it would help if you narrowed down your interests for us. Best of luck!
