Dreams and interpretation

Ok. Does anyone know anything about dream interpretation?
I was talking to a couple of people at work this morning about a weird dream i had, when this guy pipes up that he has a recurring dream about planes - i said what a coincidence because i have that too! It turns out we both have pretty much the same things happen in our dream. We are on a plane with loads of people, but travelling alone, when there is either a problem with the take-off or the landing, or something just happens mid-air. The next thing, the plane is crashed and we are helping people out of the wreckage. The only difference is that in my dream the plane crashes near water (there is sometimes some sort of jetty i'm stood on) and this guys is always on land.
I thought this was 'my recurring dream' but it appears not as this guy has this recurring too. Does anyone know what this kind of dream means...if anything?!

I had a dream about a plane crash too the other day and I suppose hundreds of others did too. So forget it, it means nothing.
