Can somebody please advise the cheapest method for somebody to send between $100 - $150 from the USA to the UK. The recipient does have a bank account. Thanks.

Send a cheque (in US$$) from their US bank account to the recipient in the UK.

Using http://www.auctionpix.co.uk/misc/money.html the recipient here can change it for relatively little.

Otherwise cash in the mail recorded/registered or whatever sevice is available from the US. The recipient then takes it into a BdeC to get sterling.
