Sat Nav

I've been reading a load of reviews on Sat Nav but it is very easy to get caught up with whats glamorous and what is practical
Does anyone out there have a good review based on personal experience using a Sat Nav,also I know the name Tom Tom is probably synonamous with many of you, but are they really the best?
It would be nice to buy one with North American Mapping Included as I am going there soon.
My budget is upto �300

I haven't got time to write a full review but take a look at the Garmin Nuvi range, I've had a 300 for about 6 months now and it has it's own little quirks but in the main I'm very happy with it and wouldn't change to a Tom-Tom.

I would agree that the Garmin is an excellent purchase!
