what made you feel old?

This made me realise the other day, as i was sewing the clips onto my daughters hair extentions (!) well what a bloody tedious job, mad worse by the fact that i had to keep re-threading the needle, well i always used to be pretty damn good at threading needles (not that people used to queue up for me to do it or anything on that scale) but i always found it easy, but NOW?? i was squinting, and blinking, tongue sticking out and all sorts, spotlight on the needle but to no avail, have to admit my eyes are not what they were, so my daughter had to keep doing it for me, took her all of 5 seconds, but it made me think, what cant you do now, that you used to be good at, and its all down to getting older?? in case you think i'm 87, i'm 44 lol

Every time the new doctors at work walk into my office - they are usually 23-24!!!! I think blimey I might need them if I'm ill - scares me silly and makes me feel like an antique!

On my last birthday my secretary asked me how old I was, I told her and she said "God you're ancient".

thinking that a trip to B&Q on saturday morning for garden supplies or DIY materials is an actual excursion and can be considered an activity to fullfill the question on the following monday entitled "What did you do on the weekend?" and looking forward to the day when I can get my discount at said store by shopping on a wednesday.

Not being able to find clothes in the highstreet stores and thinking to myself, "I'll just go to Marks's" and then getting to marks's and noticing a hideous pair of drawstring trousers which should evoke a response in my such as "Yuck", but instead evoke the innappropriate response: "Ummm, they look comfy...."

Yikes. I should run for the hills now. I am only actually 30.
