Gasman as the boiler is under guarantee i decided to leave well alone, called G/ worm engineer, it appears you where right, poor commissioning. my boiler was throwing out 16Lts instead of 12Lts , the 38 cxi is 15 Lts
and mine the 30cxi is 12Lts. Does this fix sound right to you,he reduced flow just below boiler cold inlet valve, and turned temp controll to full. he said you needed full temp this time of year, did't think it was that cold ??? in
saying that i would not go diving in the river severn just
now, however we do now have hot water, will have to send you an easter egg after all this!!!

I often find poor commisioning to be a major factor in output and performance issue's. It will realistically take the best part of a day to fully commission a system and alot of engineer's just hang the boiler check it is safe and then walk away, because af the time involved in setting it up to the individual requirements is non productive, when they could be elsewhere earning another 500 for the days work. Glad you have it sorted now and good luck with it . Oh yeah and the incoming water temp is 13*C lower at the moment than what it was in July as i was installing a boiler yesterday and compared temperature's to some i fitted in the summer. So it rather cold even though as you say it does not feel like it. Keep it turned up full mate :o)
