Customers who buy a really well selling pair of boots and then return them as unsuitable 27 days later (1 day inside the 28 day policy)
Customers who try on a pair of kneww boots and then blame the boot cos it will not zip up over their 20 inch calves.
Customers who ask to spak to someone in charge when it clearly says manager on your name badge.
Customers who deny any knowledge of any return policy even though it is in 10 inch high lettering behind the till point and has been for 2 years.
Customers who say 'well i wasn'rt tols that when i bought it' when they complain that the handbag they bought isn't leather.
Customers who appear to rely on the telepathic skills of sales assistants.
Customers with double buggies who tut cos there is only the legal space between fixtures.
Customers who put their monthly account statement on the counter without a word and assume you not only know that they wish to pay their account but also know how much they want to pay.
Customers who when you ask them how much they want to pay on their account say, 'all of it' .
Customers who pay by cheque one day and come in for a cash refund the next.

Oh and most of all, pensioners who queue with 10 items in the express till in M&S at 1pm and then realise when everything is scanned that they need to get their M & S card out to pay for it and then can't remember the pin number and then remember they have a customer loyalty voucher they have forgotten about so need the whole transaction reversing and rescanned. Obviously they have chosen the busy lunch hour to buy their 2 ounzes of ham and giant chocolate gateau as they have to make the Bingo for 2pm.

kate we have a small set of 5 stairs leading from my concession down into the main store and you would be surprised how many mums tut at me for not lifting their buggy down with them! If i put my back out and have to have 6 weeks off work would they pay my salary? Would they heck, it gets me mad.

The self service till at Tesco that tells you to do things that you have already done and then says that the scales are not functioning before sending all of your items back up the belt because it says you haven't scanned them.

The assistant packing your shopping for you and putting the bread, cat food and soap all in the same bag.

All of the adverts on TV for leather settee's, that you dont have to pay for until 3006....
