What do you prefer to eat: Chinese food, or Indian?
For me, it has to be Chinese. It fills you up, and you don't feel bloated or over-indulged; like you usually do with Indian. Also, some Indian food is simply too hot for my liking.
Also, what do you order when visit either of the aforementioned takeaways/restaurants?
I love both but when I eat some Chinese food I get a rash on my hands and they swell up a bit then I'm ill the next day. Also makes me very thirsty. I limited Chinese food!!!
Indian food fabulous too always a nice selection of veggie stuff. Doesn't it always smell georgeous too and instantly makes you hungry when you smell it.
Indian every time.
I have to be in a very particular mood for Chinese so only have it once or twice a year.
On the curry front I always have tarka dall, sag bhaji, bindi bhaji, prawn methi, chicken dhansak, poppadoms and a naan. But I always make the rice myself. I'm a bit paranoid about takeaway rice.
Yes I did wonder about that drchasuble. My family got quite worried last time I had tofu in a black bean sauce - my hands looked like red balloons. Doesn't happen when I make my own sauces at home (and no MSG in those).
But thanks for the list drchasuble. Its odd because I actually don't like the majority of things on the list could be because of the MSG I do eat textured protein and feel ill afterwards. Now I know why!!!
Chinese for sure... my SIL is chinese and makes some wonderful dishes - not like the type you get in a takeaway (they are made for the European tastes only and very rarely would you get a chinese person actually eating that). If you get the opportunity, go to a proper chinese restaurant where the chinese themselves eat. There is a fabulous one not far from the London Dome, its actually inside a hotel (can't remember the name of it though sorry). They have stuff like 'DimSum' (think i've spelt it right), fantastic dishes ! Give it a try if you ever get the chance, you'll never feel the same about a Chinese Takeaway in the High Street again.
