1997 was the last time the UK won the eurovision contest with Katrina and the Waves, Love Shine a Light. In Dublin.

I love eurovision and it gets me mad watching the points system now when most of the scoring is political and everyone seems to hate us.

Sir Terry is what makes it though I don't think I'd bother watching it if he left. (then again I probably would).
