bugged up pc

my mates pc has a load of bugs and keeps going slow etc..

what can i do about it?

a couple of years ago it was simply run adaware but this seems to be out of date now,

can anyone put me a link to a free system cleaner that i dont have to worry about doing more damage

I've put links for a new version of adaware and also spybot which hopefully should get things moving again.
