what does everybody do? I mean, you come home after work, cook tea, eat it, wash up, then what? I guess I am directing this to people without children as I would imagine their lives to be full to the brim.

Hi Prinnyhep, just wondering, making this year the year I get a life!
turn the main light off,sit down by the fire, put on some music, have aglass of wine & relax, while gazing into the fire, come on here for half an hour or so, sometimes read or watch a dvd, cos it's always crap on the telly, and then as robbo says, roll on the summer, we can sit outside the pub then on summer evenings or a spot of trout fishing, great life ain't it.
summertime is like having a day off in between days at work....

i go horseracing, barbeque, just generally get out more.
i nearly posted a question on here yesterday to say...how can i stop myself falling asleep in the evenings! i sit by the fire with a glass of wine and doze off and i think what a waste of time!! in the summer i walk most evenings and sit outside to drink my wine! cut the grass, was the cars etc i do enjoy my life but winter evenings seem a bit of a void.
Get home.
Eat something.
Watch TV.
Get bored sufing the net.
Bath.
More TV.
Bed.
Get up and do it all over again.

I am not alive, I merely exist.
I've missed the kind of social ife that I had before I changed jobs and ended up woking away from the city centre, we'd go out all the time after work for coffee or a few drinks and would regularly pick a lovely restaurant and go out for a meal.

Used to lots of client entertainment and networking too which was fantastic and I loved and really miss.

I'm currently job hunting and hoping to get back in the city centre so that I can regain it. The start of me coming on here regularly was when I'd changed jobs.

I think back to thenI was younger and was always out doing something from voluntary work to outdoor pursuits, the gym, riding and such. Really need to get back into it.

I return home from work around 7, the dogs are usually still out roaming the grounds at that time and so they bound up the drive as the electric gates swish closed behind the Rolls as Henry smoothly turns the car in under the portcullis.

My man Jeffers opens the door of the car and as i step from the rear seat i hear the dinner gong sounding and the patter of the maids foorsteps hastening, knowing the lady of the house has returned.

After dining in the small dining room, (the banquet suite is too draughty) i retire to either the games room for a relaxing game of bridge with whichever house guests are still present after the winter season, or i seak out my in house technician and request a private screening in the home cinema of one of the latest releases.

often visitors will drop in and we spend a few pleasant hours around the indoor heated pool or relaxing in the glass dombed roof garden overlooking the lights of the city down below.

if i am bored i come on here.
Dot, will you marry me ? I haven't read your post yet,so I don't care if you are poor.
