Hi there, i've just purchased a said "mini stepper" and it comes with resistence bands (long pieces of elastic with handles on the end). Although i'm not quite sure what i am meant to do with the resistence bands? Does anyone know what exercises you do with them, or a good website source for some exercises?

Thanks. xx

when you're on the stepper, you take the bands in your hands (the left in your left, and right in your right) - you have your arms out infront of you now with your palms facing upwards. grip the bands as if you were holding weights in your hands. Start stepping and use one arm at a time to bring the clenched palm of your hand towrd your face then back down and then do the same with your other hand. Hope that makes sense in some way. You should do the arms at the same speed as the stepping to avoid losing your balance. Try doing opposite arm with opposite leg if that suits. you should feel the muscles in your arms working quite hard with that! Hope that helps you in some way - good luck but keep a tin of wd40 handy - after a few weeks, mine started sounding like an old door!x
