It is worth having an idea of how much you could get trips for over the internet. Any hotel will try and add a "booking fee" to the price of the trip. If you've got no idea how much the trip should cost you can easily be ripped off. If however you say "oh but it only costs x over the net" they will suddenly be able to offer it to you at a special rate!!
Book when you get there, the exchange rate is good at the moment [ pls mr Bush dont bomb anywhere else] and you are getting more dollars for your pound, where as from here its a fixed price.
Just ask your hotel for a free " Whats On" magazine when you check in and every tour possible is advertised.You can phone from your hotel room and book thus avoiding the booking fee charge.
