I know i've asked this question before but I only got one answer which was a bit vague.

When sending someone an instant message via their profile, do they receive an e-mail notifying them, or do they only receive it when they access the site?

I know it's a bit of an obscure question but its too long-winded for me to state the reasons for asking.

It all depends if they have checked a box in their settings to recieve E-mail alerts. If that box is not checked they will only know that they have an im once they log on to myspace. If it is checked then she/he is ignoring you.
