Clever cats?
3 Answers
Hi - Our cat uses ingenious methods to get us up in the morning. I'm a drummer, and he used to pick at the corner of a rug in our band practice room (opposite the bedroom) which would bang on the skin of the bass drum ... dong... dong... dong... over and over again. I thought it might have been a flukey thing, but we recently moved and he discovered that our bedroom door is very creaky, and he holds it with his paw and slowly opens and closes it to wake us up! Anyone else got stories of really clever animal ideas?

Another one "Merlin" who I called my furry alarm clock used to paddle on my head, if I took no notice he stated to cry continuously until I gave in and got up, all this used to start from 5-6 o'clock in the morning.
I think pets are much cleverer than we think, "Bless their little hearts" X X X //// ^-..-^ \\\\

My cat has a toy mouse that if you throw for him he will bring it back to you again.. he has also worked out how to 'paw' his food out of the tin and eat it, he also literally hugs me.. .. actions of a clever cat i'm told... my other cat can't or won't do any of these things.. very clever by choosing to be a typical lazy cat maybe?
