i think this is one of the best love songs ever written.
its all about emotion and feelings that are deep inside us. (i think) but i also know its not a true love song.
it not your Romeo and Juliette type of song... it would be nice to get a couple of other peoples opinions.
love song or just another pop song ??
ps. i dont want this in "music" and i do think its a B&S sort of subject.

I dont understand why everyone thinks this is a depressing song. Its beautiful, its all about hope and loving someone. I love it and when the guitar kicks in, just before the "tears streaming down your face bit" it puts a smile on my face everytime. I think its there best song, I love it, them, Devon did good!

Speking personally, I loathe Coldplay with a passion you can only dream of. The wobbly 'I'm so sensitive' voice, the sub-sixth form poetry lyrics, the plodding arrangements, I just think they are ghastly but ...
that's just my opinion - which you asked for.
To compensate, try 'If You Could Read My Mind' by Gordon Lightfoot, to hear how it should be done - again in my opinion, but i do know what I'm talking about - trust me!
