Depends on your nationality, but never just a driving licence.

If you are an EU citizen of a country that issues national ID cards, then that ID card will do. (A driving licence is NOT an ID card although it is sometimes used as one, unofficially)

If you are a citizen of any other country then a passport and sometimes a visa.
