Washing Disaster/paper in piockets!

OOPs! I washde my husbands Ralph Lauren Chinos with a golf card in the pocket. They now have paper all over the top and lint all over them. How can I get rid of it?

soak in loads of water to soften off as much paper as poss then wash them agin. I do the "tissue in the jeans pocket " disaster on a regular basis and it does wash off....hope it wasn't his medal winning best ever golf score tho'

I'd also give it a good going over with brown parcel tape. Wrap it sticky side out around your fingers and dab it over the affected area.

When a similar thing happened to an item of clothing, I put the article in the tumble dryer on cool for a while. You'll be amazed at the fluff, et., ends up on the filter.
