To those of you who helped me out with one or two answers to a recent literary quiz - thank you very much. I won! There are some book tokens winging their way to me as I type.

Now I suppose I'll have to ask for some book suggestions.

Was that the Times Literary Quiz ?
If so...jolly well done because it was extremely hard .

No, it wasn't. It was set by an online writing community that I'm part of. Hard enough, though. Many of the books/writers in the answers were way outside my usual genres, so I had to do plenty of research.

Well whatever it was ....well done ..It's always nice to hear someone win something for their efforts .
We get a lot of winners in Q&P in various comps and quizzes and we always give them a pat on the back.
My husband always wonders why I waste my time doing crosswords and quizzes but he didn't quibble over the bottle of very expensive brandy from a crossword comp that I had won !
