where do i free trapped water i can see through the grill at the rear of my rover 75engine compartment under the wind screen area i can hear it sloshing around also

you shouldent have to,there should be a drain hole,perhaps its blocked up with a leaf or something,try and get to it and clear it with a coat hanger

A agree with Steve2010, The drain holes either side of the scuttle will be blocked with debris. A coat hanger or similar should clear it.

This was a known problem with these vehicles. The water sometimes affects the ECU (not sure which one) so can cause more problems.
