i only buy runabouts and am not bothered by fire or theft....

I worked for budget a while back.. and in training I asked the same question.. as I do the same.. apparently alot fewer people require it.. so it's kind of disappearing into non-existence, however it would be an idea to look on a search engine.. my fave is insurancesupermarket.com, you are likely to find that you can get a cheaper qoute for TPF&T than TPonly.

Also if you're not going to claim for Fire or Theft, increase your voluntary excess as much as possible, this will bring your quote down even more.
