Don't want a costume as such but what could we do as a sexy alternative? Was thinking legwarmers, pumps, corset and little skirt etc, with backcombed hair. Need other ideas please! many thanks

I had a mini-skirt made of fake fur, with a length of strong bendy wire around waist-band, with enough excess wire to stick out the back as a tail. I wrapped the tail bit of wire in fabric and put a bit of the fur on the end. The tail bobbed around when I walked/danced - very good for attracting attention (the tail was grabbed a lot).
The rest of your costume sounds very good, especially back-combed hair.
