my gas boiler bangs a lot when it heates the water up just befor it cuts out when it is up to temp and not at the beginning of heatup

our boilder did this. it was a bosch.

they replaced nearly every part in the thing, and found out that it was something to do with some sort of pump.

hope that helps.
if yours is a bosch boiler, then get a new one, as it will end up being cheaper!
