What happened to the Easter and Halloween sections from it?

I don't understand why these have been removed before say the Christmas one seeing as the previous two are fairly imminent.

Hi BOO - I wouldn't have noticed & the only reason I looked last night, is 'cos Vinny really made me laugh by saying that it hadn't taken long for the Christmas one to fill up! It obviously still had all 2006 threads on it, he, he!

I expect the Ed has her reasons for removing some of them. You never know, some may get their wish & she may even end up removing the whole Topic. If so, we'll just have to go back to using Sugg's & B&S - now there's a thing!!!!

But we shall have to wait & see! ;o}
when did we have a Halloween topic?
Just 5 days to Burn's Night and no sign of a section for that either. ten elevenths of the UK will just have to remain ignorant.
Well . . . 6 days then.
oh yes, they were there yesterday, weren't they. I suppose Christmas is allowed to last all year, like in Oxford Street, and the others just get rotated one at a time? That would mean Valentine's vanishing in a month and Easter reappearing, though quite what anyone's going to post about Easter I'm not sure.

Should also be a Guy Fawkes one for people to complain about fireworks going on for a month. And maybe the Ed could run an Editor's Birthday category for a couple of weeks so wellwishers can add their felicitations.

(Or now that I think of it, a proper Birthday category so people could send other ABers congratulations, all posts to be automatically removed after 2 weeks, say.... hey, that's the best idea I've had since my solar-powered torch.)
I asked a Halloween question - where has that gone then?
gen2 "Burn's Night?" Do you mean November 5th?
Hi TCL You of all people know I don't mean that, but you've just got 50 million people very confused.
You have the apostrophe in the wrong place as the surname was Burns and not Burn.
I asked if a Birthday sub-cat could be included in my General Greetings suggestion - now the Seasonal topic. But we'll have to wait & see if the new Ed kindly grants it!
My husband was born on 25 January - Burns Night too.
The whole thing should be ditched in favour of a Fondant Fancy category .....you can dish them out Boo ....but please make sure I get the one with the pink icing :)
Mmmmm - my grandchildren like Fondant Fancies, so that's not a bad idea shaney. ;o}
