Am I eligible for a joint mortgage?

I would like to apply for a joint mortgage with my father but I work as seasonal cabin crew so only have a secure full time job from March to October each year. I always find other work in the winter and payments wouldn't be a problem but I would like to know if I have a chance of getting a joint mortgage in this situation? Would I even be considered without a permanent 12 month work contract?
