Leave the fur coat behind, but a light fleece might come in handy in the evenings, especially if you're dining out by the beach or something. Do take, or buy, sunscreen, the sun always seems very bright and you can see for miles and miles even on a dull day. And the wine is great, including the pinots from down chitchat's way.
You are all SO kind, I am getting more excited, it is so nice to have contact with you all, I looked up Wairarapa on the map, I will give you a (metaphorical) wave as we come back up from South Island and pass nearby! It is 6 degrees here, max, so it sounds great and not too hot, just perfect in fact. We shall have a camper and Yes I have sunscreen AND a fleece AND a thin waterproof. WE are not trekkers being not in the first flush of youth!!! But our son did it all and wants us to see everything too. Thanks again
Paw u Jno, you will need more than a fleece, the fur coat AND the boots would be useful, maybe snow here soon!
Bet you had a great time, did you go all around? What was your favourite? the pinot sounds good/ and the comet, so a night under the stars (in the van!) looking at the sky with a nice glass of pinot sounds just the job.Have a good flight.
PS Hope you are not with BA who go on strike on Monday for 4 days. We are flying Royal Brunai (should be different)
