I work in the mobile disco / entertainment buisness and just before Christmas I had to employ a mobile disco out of the local rag. It happened to be two girls and after meeting them, they seem very nice. In fact one of them is very nice. I took them on and now I can pass work over to them on a regular basis. They do look like a Martha and Arthur otherwise there is nothing to say anything else. I took up the courage to phone the nice one and say what a good job they were doing but the fact that I had 6 cans of Stella beforehand gave me the courage to ask the nice one out for a drink. She let me down gently saying that she was courting ( Old fashioned word) Since then I have learnt that they are indeed a couple and thought no more of it.
I just can't get her out of my head and the other day she phoned to say that she is in my neck of the woods next week and would I like to join her and her friends for a drink. Do I go and punish myself or do I just keep it buisness only.
